The 2010 Championship sponsored by the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo, will take place from Friday 2nd April to Tuesday 6th April.
March 10th: Official launch
The Chamionship Committee has already set the wheels in motion for the 88th. holding of this great event and the official launch of the West will take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel on Wednesday,10th of March between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. The draw for the qualifying rounds will be announced that evening.

The Championship Committee comprises Michael Connaughton(Chairman), Jim McGovern, Richard Canavan, Enda Lonergan and Fred Perry from the Connaught Branch and the Captain, Pat Forkan, Vice Captain Michael McGowan, Hon. Sec. Aiden Anderson and Director of Golf David O'Donovan from County Sligo.
