Our Commitment
County Sligo Golf Club are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We are committed to delivering digital accessibility for all users, and this website has been developed in line with recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These standards have guided our approach to design, content, and functionality, helping us create an experience that is as inclusive and user-friendly as possible for everyone. We will continue to maintain and enhance the accessibility of this website as part of our ongoing commitment to digital inclusion.
Non-accessible Content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
The interactive Google Maps embedded on our website may not be fully accessible to users relying on screen readers or keyboard navigation. This content is exempt from accessibility regulations under the “online maps and mapping services” exemption. As an accessible alternative, we have provided a link to open the destination directly in the native Google Maps application.
Our pre-recorded golf course flyover videos (hosted on either Youtube or Vimeo) do not contain audio, and currently lack a descriptive text transcript or audio description. While the visual information (such as hole layouts, hazards, and green shapes) is not accessible to people with visual impairments or screen reader users, the hole descriptions and hazard are listed below on the same page. Any other videos used are decorative only.
