The Churn
A left to right dog-leg requires a good tee-shot. A hidden dip short of the green make the approach seem shorter than it is.

Dog leg right
The fairway turns from right to left with bunkers lining both sides. A large mound in the fairway often leads to not being able to see the ball land. There is also a large burren that prevents any low running shots into the green.
Bunkers
There are bunkers to the left and right of the fairway between 245 & 275 yards. These bunkers are in view from the tee and the perfect line is between them.
Green Complex
The green slopes from left to right and back to front. There is also a steep bank guarding the front of the green

The world-famous golf course in Rosses Point offers an excellent challenge. The traditional links layout, designed by Harry Colt, utilises the natural contours of the dune-covered landscape rather than moving large amounts of earth during its design.
