The traditional links layout, designed by Harry Colt, utilizes the natural contours of the dune-covered landscape rather than moving large amounts of the earth during its design. The end result is a course filled with dramatic undulations, elevated tees, and raised plateau greens.

Open Days





The Rosses Point Golf Club offers various Open Days throughout the year when non-members can play in competitions on the Colt Course. There are a variety of competition types available from singles Stableford to Foursomes and Fourballs to Champagne Scramble.





The Open Festival of Golf takes place each August starting on the Bank Holiday Saturday when there are 10 continuous days of Open golf on our famed Colt Course.





So come along and follow the footsteps of the greats such as Tom Watson, Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington, Shane Lowry and many more.
